1. Purpose 

WestonBrook Associates Limited is committed to promoting diversity, ensuring equity, and fostering an inclusive culture across our organisation and within the recruitment services we deliver. As a UK recruitment business, we have a responsibility—both legal and ethical—to ensure fair treatment for all candidates, clients, and employees, and to remove barriers that limit opportunities for under‑represented or disadvantaged groups. 

2. Scope 

This policy applies to employees, contractors, job applicants, candidates, and clients, and covers all recruitment and internal employment practices. 

3. Our DE&I Principles 

Diversity: We value differences including age, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socio‑economic background, neurodiversity, and veteran status. 

Equity: We ensure fair and transparent recruitment, reasonable adjustments, and unbiased selection. 

Inclusion: We foster an environment where everyone feels respected and able to contribute. 

4. UK Legal Compliance 

WestonBrook Associates Limited complies with the Equality Act 2010, Employment Rights Act 1996, Human Rights Act 1998, Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and UK GDPR. 

5. Responsibilities 

Leaders: Promote inclusive values and address breaches. 

Recruiters: Apply unbiased processes and inclusive job adverts. 

Employees: Treat others with respect and challenge discrimination. 

6. Recruitment and Candidate Experience 

Job adverts will be inclusive, shortlists reviewed for diversity, adjustments offered, and candidates assessed based on skills and capability. 

7. Reporting and Investigations 

Concerns may be reported to managers, HR, directors, or confidential channels. Retaliation is prohibited. 

8. Training and Development 

We offer training on inclusive recruitment, bias awareness, and anti‑harassment. 

9. Monitoring and Improvement 

We review diversity data, pay equity, feedback, and update policies accordingly. 

10. Policy Review 

Reviewed annually or sooner if required.
